The Romantik Hotel Laurin in Salò was built at the beginning of the 20th century. The building was called then Villa Isabella and originated as a private residence for the Simonini family.
During the Social Republic it was the seat of the Foreign Affairs Ministry and in the Sixties it became the Romantik Hotel Laurin thanks to the Rossi family.
This majestic and elegant building represents today the most complete and best preserved example of Liberty style in Italy.
The frescoes of Bertolotti and Landi, large wrought iron volutes and refined inlays in the wood are only few of the marvels you can admire in this place where time is suspended.
